Choose a sunny position and sow the Purslane seeds from April to August 1cm (½″) deep into a finely raked soil that has had grit incorporated to aid drainage. Make regular sowings at monthly intervals to ensure a continual supply of leaves. When large enough to handle thin the seedlings to 10cm (4″) apart. Keep the plants well watered in dry spells. | |
