How do you grow Cosmos Choca Mocha?

Cosmos Choca Mocha requires a sunny position and a well-drained soil. The plants grow to a height 65cm (26") and are suitable for growing in the border or in pots on the patio. The chocolate scented flowers are produced from July through to October.

Once the danger of frost has passed the plants can be grown outdoors for the summer. Keep the compost moist and feed regularly when grown in containers. To promote further flower production regularly remove dead flower heads. The plants are not hardy and should be lifted before the first frosts. Store the tubers over winter in trays of barely moist sand under frost free conditions. In February or March pot up into a container large enough to take the tuber and grow on at a temperature of 15ºC (60ºF), watering sparingly at first until new growth appears.
